There are basically two type of membership

Trading Member 

a member who has a ring to execute transactions in contracts of the Exchange. A Trading Member shall be permitted to clear his transaction through a Clearing Member only

Trading-cum-Clearing Member

a member who has the right to trade as well as clear his transaction in contracts permitted by the Commission through the Clearing House of the Exchange. A Trading-cum-Clearing Member shall be entitled to clear the transaction of a Trading Member subject to the Bye-Laws of the Exchange.
